Vow Hour

Every morning Zoetic holds what we call Vow Hour. Vow hour is a loosely guided, (mostly)silent sit. You can sit on a cushion, a floor chair, or a regular chair, we have all 3 available. At 7:30am the gong sounds and we make a vow to Ourselves, and each other, to stay present with the moment in silence for 30 min. Vow Hour is not really an hour, but you are welcome to stay late or arrive early to enjoy the tea bar. Come early, or half way through the sit. We do not care if you are late. Rushing is violence.

Instructions and agreements: The gong starts the session and the gong ends the session. All sitters are encouraged to be silent during your seat selection and set up, and after the sit as you put your props away, get tea, and continue on with your day. Everyone is welcome. Please arrive at least 5 min early to set up your sit station. The gong leader of the day will be around to point the way. To participate as a gong leader in a future sit please speak to Zoe Coates. Volunteers welcome!
