New Moon PRACTICE

It is the night of the New Moon!  Expect something a little different than usual.  In honor of the new moon we hold a mindful drinking ritual before Practice.  Tinctures crafted by Andrew Herrick, owner of Wild Hearth & Home are on offer, as well as special tea.  We go a little longer than usual, we do more yoga than we usually do at a regular Practice class, but you are welcome to make the time your own, following your own body’s flow in the moment.

Zoetic’s signature class, PRACTICE, is super humanly simple, and incredibly effective. The first part of the hour is mindful movement (think slow, easy, stretching), suitable for every body, then we transition to a breathing exercise (4-7-8 is popular around here, guided by drum), the hour concludes with a ten minute, guided to silence meditation.

This deceptively simple Practice, done on a semi regular basis, has the potential to change your life in every way.  There are several opportunities every week to come to Practice. Check out the sign up page to rsvp and for a reminder text the day of your choice.  

Meditation doesn’t have to be painful to your body.  We provide all the props you need and any of the Zoetic team are more than happy to show you how to use them to achieve comfort while meditating.
